Loose Wedge Mortise & Tenon Joint

• A variation of the mortise & tenon joint which features a removable piece (the tusk).

• This allows the joint to be disassembled by simply knocking the tusk back out. Great for furniture that needs to be taken apart again.

• There are many possible variations to the shape of the tusk, often including a taper that will allow the joint to tighten as the tusk is hammered in.
